I’ve been all over the place with listening to music. I had gone away from listening to jazz and I don’t know why. I guess just to expand my musical pallet. But I just find more and more in jazz that is just fun! It also has the most beautiful moments, as with this piece Moonlight Serenade By Glenn Miller. To me it creates this sense of nostalgia of a place or even a feeling that you had before. And it is just so damn pretty so take a minute, and listen. It’s a truly beautiful piece.

Another Great day for some Philip Glass! I don’t know why I’ve been listening to him so much lately. But I like it!!! This is a saxophone sextet that would be awesome to play….Maybe next semester?

This is probably the most beautiful scene in movie history. And the music of Alberto Ginastera just tie every emotion with the scene! If you haven’t seen “The Artist” YOU NEED TO!!!!
